Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! Celebrated between September and October, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to spread our appreciation for Hispanic and Latino American producers and their delicious contributions to the wine industry.

Officially starting on September 15th, this month commemorates the anniversary of independence for Latin American countries – Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua – and is split between the two months of September and October due to various significant victories for the Hispanic/Latinx communities over these time periods.

On a broader scale, this celebration recognizes the cultures, contributions, and histories of the Latino-American community. To support some of the producers that we know and love, check out our BIPOC collections which highlight those who have been historically marginalized in the wine industry. This way, we can continue to Drink Progressively!

Latinx Producers

To celebrate Hispanic Heritage this month and every month, book a  regional tasting themetoday! Not only will this be a fun, educational, and inclusive experience, but it is a great opportunity to introduce yourself to new producers and new varietals! Reach out to Ayana Blue, Director of Strategic Partnerships, at  ayana@theurbangrape.com, today to inquire about our open dates this season, and we look forward to curating your next event!
