A staple in Boston's South End community for over a decade, and newly opened in DC's Shaw neighborhood, The Urban Grape’s locally-made tasting tables have played host to tens of thousands of wine lovers. Now it’s time for us to host your group for an interactive and immersive tasting experience!
Slide the door at the back of The Urban Grape DC’s retail store, and you’ll find yourself welcomed into a private event space that is dedicated to wine education, engaged learning, and a very good time! This 1,000-square-foot space, featuring a private entrance, a stand-alone service bar, dedicated bathrooms, streaming capabilities, and a cork wall accent, is a dedicated space for hosting corporate, networking, and personal wine events.
Available for cocktail and classroom-style events.
You are welcome to bring in small plates and nibbles for snacking throughout the tasting, so long as the food is not overtly messy and/or requires kitchen storage.
Our staff will expertly advise on how many bottles should be purchased for your tasting. Any unfinished bottles will be packed up for the event host to take with them.
You certainly may! Please be mindful that we want to avoid anything that disrupts our customers and or the flow of the store. Ask our team is you have a specific request ahead of your event.
Guests receive 10% discount of bottle purchases, and 20% discount off of case purchases.
In-store events occur in a semi-private space, meaning that you and your guests have reserved the table space for a tasting, but the entirety of the store is not ‘closed-off’ for your event.
